Singing with Kaylee About Image

About Kaylee

Kaylee Johnston has been working as a vocal coach for over 10 years. She has been singing since the age of 5, but her journey with teaching started with a vocal injury in 2009. After spending a month in silence, she began her vocal rehabilitation, and that is where she discovered her passion for vocal therapy and technique.

After completing her speech therapy, Kaylee dove into training one on one with some of the best singing teachers in Vancouver, Canada. After several years of ongoing coaching, she completely healed her voice, and that's when she began her own teaching practice. She has been helping students find freer, more dynamic voices ever since.

Aside from being a vocal coach, Kaylee is also an active singer, songwriter, and voice actor. She has sung on multiple episodes of My Little Pony, performed as two princesses on Princess Doremi, had songs featured on countless tv shows, and has a personal project with over 5 million streams.

Kaylee’s lessons are structured around a technique-based practice that builds strength and stability, in combination with breathing techniques that create the foundation of the voice. She also focuses on the emotions behind your voice and how your mind may be playing a role, to help unlock any limiting beliefs in your vocal production.

With dedication and persistence, she helps her students work through their vocal blocks and find freedom in the voice they were born to sing with.
